At b-sharp we treat the historical source materials with great respect in order to maintain their true character and preserve their authenticity. Weather we are working from LP, analog tape, laserdisc and other digital sources – we always search for the artistical core of a recording to creatively expound and redefine its potential. We work with well maintained original players and state-of-the-art digital processing tools to smooth artefacts of historical production techniques, sonic constraints of the early generation digital systems or just to compensate insufficient production standards.

Based on our long time cooperation with TV and independent film production companies, we have a rich history in providing, creating, and working with sound for audiovisual media. Capable of working directly from the musical scores and fully equipped to record in sync with picture or a click track, we are accustomed to smoothly integrate into existing organizational structures and know how to operate in the background without compromising the sonic quality of a recording.

In post production we can accommodate all current film formats and codecs. Random access multitrack playback with video lock and fully automated stereo and surround mixing are available to ensure operational efficiency. Master media can be delivered in any compressed and uncompressed format.
